Day One
A little mental break down, most of the people sitting next to me were form Myślenice and the girl I was sitting with was really rude. It was 24h trip in bus, not really comfortable but I made it to the first stop in UK when I decidet to talk to some girl from Poznań. She was super nice and we imidietly cath up. Since then we sit togheter.
Day Two
First day in London. We went to Greenich Park, then an Uber boat to Westminster Bridge, then the London Eye, first shopping, Elizabeth Tower, some church and Buckingham Palace. An exhausting day full of walking, but the views were worth it. First night at home, a bit disappointing, but I was too tired to notice.
Day Three
Waking up at 5am to use the bathroom :’) We visited Madame Tussauds Museum (a bit scary), then we ate our first English food, which was a hotdog. We also went shopping on Oxford Street. Then we went for a walk to Covent Garden, great place to go shopping (if you’re very rich, so we took FREE hot chocolate).
Day Four
Trip to Oxford, wich was totally giving Hogwart vibe. Some of the scenes in Harry Potter were actually made there. We ate sushi fot 3 pounds and it was delicius. We went to bookshop that had five floors and Alice in Wonderland shop. Also the best bubble tea that exist.
Day Five
We went to National Gallery, I even saw Sunflowers by Da Vinci but couldn’t really enjoy it becouse of the legs pain. We also went to China Town, where I spent four pound on some freaking chips :’) Then we went to Natural History Museum, which was really cool exept for vulcan that was broken.
Day Six
It was actally the last day and to be honest I was too tired to even walk so that day was horrible. We went to Tower of london, ans some museum but I don’t even know what it was couse we went eating (freaking pasta for 4 pounds). Then we took ferrybout to France (never again).
Recapitulation
Seven days of an amazing language camp in London, living with a host family on the outskirts of London. I am becoming more and more comfortable with speaking English. Visiting the most iconic places in London and tour of Oxford was an amazing experience. It was my first time abroad and even if it wasn’t perfect, I’m 100% satisfied with the way it went. I lived with wonderful people and I can’t wait to visit this city again
